Kindle For Dummies
February 29, 2008
I think my Amazon Kindle believes it’s smarter than me.
Well, I suppose it probably is at the moment. The Kindle is holding way more information than my brain could possibly memorize. Just when I’m done reading something interesting on my new geek gadget, I find something even more interesting to browse through.
The business minded individuals over there at Amazon really make it easy for me to get the reading material that I’m looking for. This could be a bad thing since I might go broke loading up the Kindle, but that’s alright I guess. I can always do something with the knowledge I’m absorbing.
Like I said though, this electronic newspaper miracle machine has a way of taking all the things around me and making them disappear. I can be sitting at Union Station in Chicago with a gazillion people walking by, strange ones even, and I’m able to stay focused on reading the digital information on my screen with no absolutely no problems.
I hope that I don’t turn into a walking newspaper myself. I might end up getting recycled. Ugh. At least I don’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of time at the library sharpening my dewey decimal system skills. Give me my Amazon Kindle baby.
